I’m Sara, an Integrative Nurse and Women’s Health and Initiation Coach

For the last twenty years I’ve studied the science and spirit of healing through exploring Eastern philosophical and Western clinical health sciences, yoga and ayurveda, somatic experiencing and biodynamic craniosacral energy work, as well as Amazonian plant medicines and other traditional healing methods. These common root between these endeavors was a deep exploration into how people heal. I currently work as an Integrative Nurse and Initation Doula, trained in mineral balancing, functional nutrition and hormone balancing. I am the founder of Liminal Medicine, a medicine space for women that incorporates rites of passage and and earth wisdom into a regenerative healing modality. Before becoming a Nurse, I held various positions in the international public health sector where I created and managed reproductive health and nutritional rehabilitation programs in Malawi, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone and Honduras. During this time I consulted for both Save the Children Canada and the Health Ministry of Burkina Faso regarding the nutritional context for disease susceptibility, a lens which continues to deepen still.
